We have a 6yr old horse who last year grew a lot and went form 16.3hands to nearly 17.2h. During this time we noticed he had become quite uncomfortable in his neck and shoulders and also lost quite alot of condition. Max came to treat him a few times along with the physio. And vet and everyone agreed he needed time to develop and strengthen. By October of last year he was starting to look better but still was holding soreness in his neck and front end and his feet were on and off hot. Max came to see him and suggested we tried him in his cryo machine/stable as it might help reduce any inflammation we were missing and then make him more comfortable to work better and in a more relaxed way to help his body strengthen. We have taken him for three sessions now over the course of around 6 weeks and the horse is going from strength to strength. His neck is now staying  consistently more relaxed, he has put condition on and top line and his feet show no signs of heat at all. He has recently come back to jumping and every time back in the ring he has improved and is building confidence and trust in his body that he doesn’t have to hold tension and is really starting to jump through his body.

This non invasive and completely chemical free treatment has transformed this horse and we will continue to use it on him and any others we feel are starting to hold tension or feel soreness in their bodies.

The horses are very happy to be in the cold and go into the stable. Our horse is always very fresh and playful for the first day after which is nice to feel and then settled down to real focussed and relaxed work after.

I think the cryo treatment will be a huge tool in keeping all horses but especially high level competition horses sound and feeling at the best without having to use more invasive treatments.

Thanks again Max
